Tax Treaty Case Law around the Globe

From May 19 to 21, 2011, recent court decisions on double tax treaties will be presented and discussed in a conference. The conference “Tax Treaty Case Law around the Globe” is unique and held for the first time, worldwide, and will analyze decisions out of 30 jurisdictions. Most of the judgments have been decided on basis of model conventions that have been drafted similar to the OECD and UN Model Conventions, and therefore the decisions are relevant for other countries, as well. Many well renowned experts out of the respective countries already agreed to present the cases and judgments of their courts.

 We would like to draw your attention to this conference now, because the number of participants is limited. The conference will start on Thursday, May 19, 2011. at 18:15 with a cocktail reception, and will end on Saturday May 21, 2011, evening. The venue is the Ceremony Hall of WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
